HSE MS Development and Compliance
The Health, Safety and Environmental risk Management System (HSE MS) is an integral part of many company's business management system to manage major HSE issues and risks. A HSE MS is mandatory in projects according to country specific legislation/regulation, company policy and requirements or industry standards. The HSE MS is aimed to strategically identify HSE risks, plan for arrangements to be in place to control the HSE risks, and engineer appropriate procedures, trainings, audits and improvements processes to achieve the HSE goals and objectives.
HSE MS development and compliance form a major part of MES' consultancy work. Our team provides advisory services to assist our clients in handling HSE issues associated with their facilities and operations from the earliest stage of the project. MES also provides services to develop formal documentation for the HSE MS and outlines the appropriate actions to be taken in every project activity to ensure effective HSE management. Our services extend to assist our client to update and maintain the document as a live system through the whole project lifecycle.
Acting as COMAH (Control of Major Accident or Hazard) consultants, MES also provides Formal Safety Assessments (FSAs) and prepares COMAH/CIMAH reports as well as offshore HSE/Safety Cases. These formal documents define the policy and objectives, the organisation and responsibilities/commitment of each role, the standards and procedures, the business processes and controls and the resources that are required to manage HSE issues in all aspects of the business.
